Summary: On September 8, 2004 Ms Heyer , in an interview with AHRC stated that she and her father co-wrote the Texas Uniforn Code Chapter 209 in 2002. They have been trying to pas the Condo Uniform Code in Texas but legislators are not interested in passing a 40 page act so they have been working with various bills putting in sections they want. She also stated that her father Larry Neiman(no longer active in homeowenr associations) lobbied for homeowner association industry and wrote the Texas Uniform Condo Act Other Information: Bar Card Number*: 00794373 Licensed 11/03/95 University Of Texas 05/1995 See Cypress lawsuit quote" Another issue is that Connie Heyer, the boards attorney, is the daughter of the man who wrote the Homeowner Association laws in the state of Texas. She is a CAI attorney and frequently testifies in front of the legislative branches in support of Homeowner Associations". Status of this lawsuit- they are waiting for the insurance company to pick up the defense on this lawsuit and are not doing any work on it at present - September 8, 2004
