Lawsuit Text
(Notes from association members:
This is a TRO by the old board to recall the newly elected baord.
The Association lawyer was Dan Nordberg. Instead of Dan Nordberg representing the old Georges Meyer Board, as had been the practice, a new firm; Steven K. Linkon of The Wolf Firm of Newport Beach was used.
The purpose of the complaint by the old board : Declaratory Relief..Appointment of Receiver...Injunction.
Mr. Linkon stated that the new election was illegal based on the date placed on the proxy's and the 15 day notification was delivered door to door rather than mailed (the Webb Management Company was uncooperative in supplying membership information and unwilling to help in any way.)
