Summary
Four years after a construction defects lawsuit settled, reconstruction had not commenced in Plaintiff's condominium. Plaintiff made repeated attempts to determine when reconstruction would begin, but dates came and went with no reconstruction beginning. Plaintiff was advised not to rent her condominium after June 1, 2001. Reconstruction did not begin until October 2002. Plaintiff had filed suit by that time, alleging loss of income, among other things.
Suit was settled out of court for (it is believed) $20,000.
