We need to define homeowner associations, the powers and authority of HOAs , and the rights of individual property owners

I am looking for model legislation that can be introduced in illinois to define homeowner associations, the powers and authority of same, and the rights of individual property owners.

We live in a train wreck of an HOA and need to do something.

Please forward any model legislation that you may have on file.
