These are the latest changes to Homeowner Association /Property Owner Association related bills in the 79th Texas Legislature. The Texas Legislative Session ends May 30, 2005. Please contact your legislators now!

Senate Intergovernmental Relations Committee:
Public Hearing held Thursday, April 14th, on the following HOA/PO related bills:


SB 54 – Author: Nelson, Relating to a restrictive covenant, rule, or other prohibition regulating a homeowner's display of the United States flag.

SB 362 – Author: Carona, Relating to certain condominium owners' right to redeem real property following certain foreclosure sales.

SB 892 – Author: Carona, Relating to the operation of property owners' associations; providing an administrative penalty.

SB 1018 – Author: Staples, Relating to the extension, reinstatement, or modification of or addition to residential restrictive covenants.

SB 1587 – Author – Carona, Relating to certain foreclosure notice requirements.

SB 1631 – Author: Carona, Relating to the right of redemption after foreclosure
